The service

Project Oversight publishes the Oversight app and this website. Oversight provides news summaries, analysis, opinion, and a record of public official actions.

It is not legal, financial, medical, or voting advice. It is not affiliated with any government, political party, campaign, or official.

Positions are recorded for specific measures based on dated votes, bill sponsorship, and verified public statements. We do not assign an overall pro- or anti-AI score to anyone.

We make a serious effort to source claims and to correct errors. We do not promise that every item is complete or current.

Subscriptions

A subscription buys premium features in the Oversight app: alerts, filters, saved searches, and sync. The monthly prices are $1, $2, $5, $7, $10, and $15. Each price buys the same features.

A subscription is a purchase of premium features. It is not a donation, not a gift to Project Oversight, and not tax-deductible. Extra giving, if it is offered later, is separate from this purchase.

Apple or Google bills the subscription. A screen that is not connected to the store does not charge a card. Cancel or change a plan in your store account. Deleting your Oversight account does not cancel the store subscription.

Gifts

Extra giving, when a lawyer allows it, happens on this website and pays for research and operating costs. The donate page is closed until then.

A gift is not a charitable deduction. This page does not say Project Oversight is tax-exempt.

Use of the writing

You may share links. You may not copy our summaries in bulk or present the service as an official government source.
